  • Objective

    The Assistant Manager for our Ardmore location will provide friendly, efficient, and effective service to all customers while maintaining a profitable operation.  They will supervise and direct the daily activities of the branch including branch staff and daily/weekly sales goal reporting and metrics.

    Responsibilities/Duties

    • Champion all sales, service and Firstrust strategic initiatives. Partners with all areas of the Bank to provide seamless service to our customers.
    • Ensure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and federal regulatory guidelines. Ensures compliance with all audit and security procedures.
    • Accountable to meet all inside sales and service goals for the branch.
    • Monitor the branch performance as it relates to goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
    • Assist in developing tactics to ensure the branch is meeting monthly loan, deposit, income and expense goals.
    • Demonstrates teamwork through flexibility and maintains effective communication with other departments to achieve Community Banking objectives and goals.
    • Responsible for ensuring the staff knows and complies with all audit policies and procedures.
    • Communicates to staff on new policies and procedures.
    • Provides guidance and direction to the team through coaching and counseling including constructive feedback and direction.
    • Continuously looks for ways to improve the overall team performance.
    • Will act as liaison between branch operations and the branch staff.

     

    Knowledge - Skills & Abilities

    • High School diploma, or equivalent, required.  College degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ management experience required, preferably in a banking or retail environment.
    • Must be a team player and leader who can drive a team to exceed goals in sales and service.
    • Must have a thorough knowledge of Bank audit policies, branch operations and procedures.
    • Excellent PC Skills, preferably Microsoft Office
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to learn and sell bank products and services.
    • Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, postage machine, etc.
    • Strong listening and verbal communication skills
