Responsible for identifying prospects and existing clients with Treasury Management needs and selling appropriate solutions to meet the clients' needs. Serve as integral member of the client management and Treasury Management teams in assigned segments. Manage and grow a portfolio of clients.

  • Works with Relationship Managers and individually develops prospects for new business through the sale of Treasury Management solutions designed to meet client needs within assigned business segment(s). Assists RM's with pre-qualifying prospects with Treasury Management needs. Collaborate with RM's to stay up to date on client relationships and maintain fluid communication with internal partners to provide seamless service to clients.
  • Responsible for entire treasury-solutions sales process (pro-formas, RFPs, professional client presentations, etc.), including the preparation of all paperwork/forms associated with establishing services
  • Proactively reach out to existing customers in an effort to uncover additional needs and cross-sell other Firstrust products and services to meet those needs
  • Meets or exceeds fee income goals
  • Make product recommendations to Head of Treasury Management based upon customer feedback and industry trends. Assists management in the development of new services or the modification of existing services.
  • Build a strong partnership with all assigned RM’s,, Deposit Operations, and appropriate branch staff
  • Coordinate all product training and ensure the proper installation of treasury management services.
  • Properly directs non-sales related client needs to the appropriate division for resolution.
  • Maintains all call activity and pipeline accuracy in CRM tracking system (Salesforce)
  • Ensure timely completion of pricing reviews
  • Utilize all systems (SharePoint, Salesforce, EchoSign, Mainframe, Outlook, Excel)
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Reports to Head of Treasury Management

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer terminal. The employee will be expressing, receiving, and exchanging ideas via a multi-phone system. The employee must be able to prepare and analyze figures.  Occasionally, the employee will be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.

  • Detailed knowledge of Treasury Solutions Products and an understanding of client needs that drive usage of these products
  • Previous Treasury Management Sales experience
  • Strong communications skills, consultative, solutions-based selling
  • Strong work ethic, self-directed and motivated to achieve results
  • Must be a self-starter, goal-oriented
  • Able to recognize customer needs, link solutions to need, and act on customer readiness to buy
  • Gain trust and confidence of others
  • Comfortable with utilizing technology along with a working knowledge of banking systems, internal and external networks and products
