Objective

APEX, a small-balance commercial mortgage lender located in Horsham PA, is looking to hire a dedicated sales professional to join our team. We’ve been lending to small business owners for nearly 30 years, and we want to find someone who can grow with us.

The ideal candidate will leverage their sales expertise to contact new and existing brokers to generate quality loan applications that will result in closed business. If your background is in residential sales, we are prepared to train you in commercial lending in a way that makes the most of your experience.

We offer a competitive compensation package which includes base salary, commission and attractive benefits.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Manage existing broker relationships while developing new business with them
  • Prospect new sources of business referrals in assigned territory.Schedule, attend and facilitate Broker Association trade shows, webinars and presentations.
  • Provide underwriting guidance, loan structure requirements and general information to Brokers who make inquiry calls.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales support team to document and close new business.
  • Communicate regularly with brokers, sales management and support team on the status of transactions, and update contact database.

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence others and form positive relationships.
  • Excellent work ethic, including accountability, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and desire to tackle new challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience in a professional office environment. Experience within the mortgage industry and/or mortgage sales a plus.
  • Travel: up to 25%, short duration, US.
